Diane Lucero was born into Jemez Pueblo in 1966. While her mother was a well-known potter she feels she learned more from Joseph Fragua. She's been making pots for more than 20 years and has passed her knowledge on to her son, Clayton.

Diane has participated in the annual Labor Day Santo Domingo Arts and Crafts Fair and in the Eight Northern Pueblos Arts and Crafts Show. Her favorite pieces to make are Santa Claus storytellers and female storytellers with skirts. She tells us she gets her inspiration from the people around her. She also loves kids and she loves making pottery.
